SAA is a member of the National Health Council (NHC) and is participating in the campaign to "Put Patients First". SAA has joined a long list of volunteer health agencies working together as one united voice to have a greater impact on advocacy efforts. The NHC has sent a letter to Members of Congress urging them to keep working towards passing meaningful healthcare reform that supports the NHC's Five Principles of their "Put Patients First" campaign.
