A study posted on Informaworld.com looks at the rates of axial spondyloarthritis (SpA) in a Chinese Han population.
The study looked at 13,315 people and found that the rate of spondyloarthritis in that population was 0.782%. And that "USpA (undifferentiated spondyloarthritis) is the most common subtype of SpA, followed by ankylosing spondylitis." That is nearly 4 in every 500 people affected.
