Mylvia Carrillo grew up actively participating in a variety of organizations like Toastmasters, Red Cross, Student Services, PTA, Sunday School and others. Her life had been very fulfilling and hectic, until she began to show symptoms of Ankylosing Spondylitis. At that time her life began to play in slow motion and pain and stiffness became the new routine. After six years of diagnosis, she lives a better life and has begun to engage in non-profit activities.
She believe that knowledge is the key to understanding and coping with the disease challenges and looks forward to bringing support to the Ohio central area.
She is happily married to Omar Sanchez and has three beautiful school age daughters. Most of her activities revolve around her daughters. She loves to go swimming, hiking or watching a good movie with the family.
Mylvia is working towards her bachelors in accounting and hopes to sit for the Ohio CPA Exam in the near future.
