Heidi was born in Portland, Maine and moved with her family to Florida back in the late 1970’s where she has lived ever since. Her journey began about 2 years ago when she was diagnosed at 48 with AS. Heidi works for a large non-profit healthcare organization and felt a strong need to educate her community about AS. Heidi lives with her 2 sons and enjoys reading, scuba diving and spending time with family and friends.

Heidi hopes that people that attend the meetings go away feeling that there is always hope for a better, healthier tomorrow.
