Become a Research Participant

This is an exciting time in research for ankylosing spondylitis (AS) and related diseases. To keep the momentum going we need the help of people like you to participate in research trials. Please consider teaming with the Spondylitis Association of America (SAA) by joining a research project below.

AS Family Genetic Study
As the Clinical Coordinating Center of the study, SAA embarked on the project in 1998 to create a database of genetic material contributed by patients and their families to further AS research. Although we greatly appreciate the more than 300 families who have volunteered thus far, we need your help and recruitment for the study is ongoing.

For more information on the study, click here, or contact SAA at info@asresearch.org or call 1-800-777-8189.
